About the Artist

I began oil painting in late 2008 at Main Street Art Center in Lake Zurich.  I found that I especially enjoy painting portraits and figures.  I am a member of the Portrait Society of America, Oil Painters of America, National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society, American Allied Artist and the American Impressionist Society.  I have attended workshops with Dawn Whitelaw, Dan Gerhertz, Kevin Beilfuss and Laura Robb to name a few.  I have a Masters in Health Care Administration and am a Registered Nurse.  I spent my 30 year carreer in the field of Management and Nursing Administration and Consulting.  I now spend my time painting at my studio in Cary, Illinois.
